Our website solutions are typically Content Management and e-Commerce Systems, based around our core range of products and incorporating website design services and Search Engine Optimisation. By developing solutions based on our core products we are able to offer lower development costs and shorter project durations than if every project started from scratch.

A large number of our clients have requirements based around specific business needs that cannot be met by a relatively simple web site. Indeed, the requirements may best be realised by a non-web based solution entirely, or a combination of web and non-web technologies. In such instances a bespoke development project is required. These projects typically include a period of detailed requirements analysis to ensure the best basis for delivering the necessary functionality that will optimally automate the underlying business processes.

Almost all of our projects involve a degree of database design and development. However, for some projects this is exclusively what is involved. At Propona we have extensive experience designing and implementing SQL Server database solutions having provided line of business database applications handling both high volumes of data and very large numbers of transactions. We have also provided solutions utilising the latest Business Intelligence tools of SQL Server including Reporting Services.

When the scope of a project is yet to be defined, we will provide consultancy on the full range of IT project lifecycle services in addition to pure software development. This can include both Microsoft technology specific consultancy (SQL Server, SharePoint, .NET, Small Business Server, etc.) but also business analysis to assess how key business processes might be improved and aligned to technologies to provide competitive advantage to the client.
